Pan Roasted Brussel Sprouts

    INGREDIENTS

    8 ounces brussel sprouts

    2 tablespoons olive oil

    Salt & pepper to taste

    2 tablespoons butter

    1 clove minced garlic, minced

    1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar


    DIRECTIONS

    1. Slice brussel sprouts in half. Heat olive oil in the KitchenAid® NITRO Carbon Steel Skillet over medium heat and place brussel sprouts in a single layer, cut side down, in the heated skillet.

    2. Season with salt and pepper. Cook for 6-8 minutes or until tender, stirring occasionally while keeping the cut side down.

    3. Add butter and minced garlic to the skillet and saute for 1 more minute until the garlic is fragrant.

    4. Transfer the cooked brussel sprouts to a small bowl and drizzle with balsamic vinegar if desired. Serve immediately.
