Maryland Crab Cakes

Here is my variation on a traditional Maryland crab cake.

  • Yield: 4 Servings
  1. Combine all ingredients. Mix together well and form into small patties.
  2. In a frying pan on medium heat, melt a little butter if necessary, then fry each patty for 3 or 4 minutes per side until just browned and firm. Serve hot.

  1. I still don't care for crab but can do this with canned salmon (sometimes you can find it very cheap) or tuna. We have done it (salmon patties) with reg crackers (low salt) eggs and onion but I like the dijon and worcestershire idea.
