The glass lid allows for food to be overseen without losing heat or moisture, and the dual-riveted stainless steel handle combines strength with a silicone pad for comfort. Heavy gauge, hard-anodized aluminum, which is twice as hard as stainless steel, heats evenly, and food won’t bind to the saute because of the 3-layer nonstick interior. This covered saute is also conveniently oven safe to 400°F.
