In my house we cook at home daily, rarely going out to eat and often entertaining large groups of friends, co-workers. I have used many different brands and styles of cookware, including, ALL-CLAD, Cuisinart, Calphalon, Le Creuset and so on. This cookware performs beautifully! It is the most responsive cookware I have ever used, in regards to how quickly and evenly it heats and cools, reacting beautifully to the changes made on the stovetop. The copper lining up the sides ensure that the whole pan conducts heat to your dish and not just the bottom. It is heavy, which can make it seem a little bulky, but it seems to me a sign of the quality and materials used. I find it comfortable in my hand and the best performing cookware on the market. Initially I was concerned that I would lose the mirror-like finish upon use, but using Bar Keepers Friend worked like a charm, and even after multiple uses on various different food types it retains its shine without spotting or discoloration. This set offers some true competition for the infamous ALL CLAD, as it out-performs it without the full ALL-CLAD price.
