This is one of the best skillets I have ever used. I own and use All-Clad, Calphalon, Cuisinart, and several others - and the 14 inch skillet by Analon is great. It's very versatile. It's deep enough that you can make a pasta sauce. It goes from searing to sauce pan in the same meal.
