I live in Oklahoma, with my husband and three boys on our cattle ranch. I love my family, I love to cook and I love to read. Growing up in the south, my family owned a restaurant. Needless to say I was surrounded by good food, of course I was too picky to enjoy very much of it! My, how things have changed. About 10 years ago I started my own barbecue sauce business that I later sold and it is still thriving today. I really missed the creativity and connection with people that came with a food business, so I started Miss in the Kitchen in February 2010. I really enjoy developing new recipes and I continue to learn more about food photography.
