Hi there! My blog, Fork vs. Spoon, was started as a way to explore the culinary world a bit deeper and with a purpose. Little did I know that it would also start a passion with photography and writing. I started my adventure in the kitchen as soon as i could tie an apron around my waist and I read from the Betty Crocker cookbook. I have been destroying kitchens ever since. I am self taught in the kitchen, with guidance from family; however, I do have dreams of culinary school. My favorite dessert is a slice of pie and my 5th favorite dessert is cake. I cannot be trusted with a jar of peanut butter or a box of doughnuts. When not in the kitchen, I am running, watching re-runs of the West Wing, and pestering Stan – resident cat/monster.
